Camrose Vintage Working Day

The 35th Camrose Vintage Working Day was due to take place on Saturday 29th August, 2020 and then re-scheduled for Saturday 28th August, 2021 but, unfortunately, due to Covid 19, the show has had to be cancelled, again.

Instead, it is hoped that the 35th Camrose Vintage Working Day will take place on Saturday 27th August, 2022.

Camrose Vintage Working Day

Back in 1984, a few like-minded people, after visiting and enjoying a nostalgic vintage show in Llandysul, thought it would perhaps be possible to raise money for charity by doing something similar at Camrose. The idea turned into reality, and Camrose Vintage Working Day was born.

Displays of Vintage Tractors, Stationary Engines, Vintage and Classic Cars and Motorcycles, along with demonstrations of Corn Cutting, Threshing, Hay Baling and Ploughing, both with Horses and Tractors, take place throughout the day.

Other attractions include a Craft and Model display tent, Wood craft, a well attended Car Boot Sale, Children’s Entertainment, working Farrier, local Trade Stands and a very popular Tea Tent serving quality refreshments, all help to make the day memorable and enjoyable.

In the main ring over the years, we have had such displays as Sheepdog Handling, Sheep Shearing, Falconry, Dressed Horses, Folk Dancing and many others.

Camrose Vintage Working Day has now become an annual event, and next year will be our 35th Working Day.

In 1984 the idea was to raise money for local charities, and to-date we have raised approximately £140,000 and hope to continue helping to fund raise for many years to come.
